Crompton Primary School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Crompton Primary School is a mixed gender nursery, infant and junior school for 3 - 11 year olds, opened in 2001. The school directly replaced and now occupies the former sites of New Barn Junior and Infant schools, the former of which was demolished, the latter was altered to include more classrooms. The school is found in Shaw and Crompton in the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, Greater Manchester, England.
The current head of the school is Mrs. K Greenhalgh, and the Local Educational Authority is Oldham.
Ofsted inspections in 2002 found the school to be a "good community school", broadly "better or inline with national and local averages" [1].
