Crompton Moor

Crompton Moor is an area of moorland in the Pennine hills of northern England. It lies along the northeastern outskirts of Shaw and Crompton, in the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, Greater Manchester.
Crompton Moor is the site on which the first evidence of human activity in the Shaw and Crompton area comes from. Iron Age artifacts were discovered by local archeologists.[citation needed]
