Croc 2, released in 1999, is the sequel to Croc: Legend of the Gobbos. Developed by Argonaut Software and published by Fox Interactive, Croc 2 was released on Game Boy Color, Windows and PlayStation (planned for a release on Sega Saturn and Sega Dreamcast but both got cancelled). The plot revolves around Croc's mission to save the Inventor Gobbo from the evil Baron Dante, who with the aid of his servants, the Dantinis, has come back to life, as well as search for Croc's parents. The original soundtrack features the guitarist Simon Gosling.
