Cristoforo Madruzzo

Cristoforo Madruzzo (1512 - 1578) was a Holy Roman Church Cardinal and prince-bishop of Trent.

Madruzzo studied at the University of Padova and University of Bologna. He is famous for having hosted the Council of Trent (1545-1563) during his tenure as prince-bishop of Trent (Trento).
