Crispin Colvin

Crispin Colvin has served on municipal council since 1990, with the Township of West Nissouri. Crispin served as councillor, Deputy Reeve and Reeve of the township until the amalgamation of the Townships of West Nissouri and North Dorchester. In 2000, Crispin was Warden of Middlesex County. From January 2001 to the municipal election of 2003, Crispin served as Deputy Mayor for the Municipality of Thames Centre. In November of 2003, Crispin Colvin was elected Mayor of Thames Centre, a position he currently holds. Crispin has lived in the riding since 1971 when his family purchased a farm outside of Thorndale. Crispin, his wife of 26 years Marianne have two grown children, Beth and Iain. Marianne is a teacher with the Thames Valley District School Board. In addition to his municipal duties, Crispin is a cash crop farmer and raises purebred Highland Cattle. Crispin has served on the London-Middlesex Children's Aid Society, the Middlesex-London Health Unit and is currently a member of the Board of Governors for the University of Western Ontario. As well, Crispin is a sitting member of Middlesex County Council. In past years, Crispin has coached minor soccer as well a house league hockey.
