Crisis of 2020

The Crisis of 2020 is a speculative period of crisis predicted by William Strauss and Neil Howe in their books Generations and Fourth Turning, as an outgrowth of the putative current era, the Culture Wars, attributed as beginning in 1984. Similar crisis eras of American history discussed by Strauss and Howe include the American Revolution, American Civil War, and the twin emergencies of the Great Depression and World War II.
