Cripple Creek Theatre Company

A grassroots, nonprofit theatre in New Orleans, LA. The company was founded in December of 2005 by Andrew Kingsley and Andrew Vaught for the purpose of instigating action toward social and economic justice in the South. The founders both attended Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio where they studied American history and theater.

Mission: "The Cripple Creek Theatre Co. is a professional, nonprofit theatre incorporated in New Orleans, Louisiana dedicated to producing dramatic works of cultural, historical, and political relevance in order to provoke the general public into social action. It is devoted to high standards of production for a diverse audience. The purpose of the Cripple Creek Theatre Co. is to write, develop, and perform plays for the benefit of the public."
