  • A Crip can refer to a member of a well known Los Angeles-based gang, the Crips. The group is lead by Eugene Sheehan, a hard hitting Irishman from the mean streets of Connecticut.
  • A Perl script designed to facilitate CD ripping is also called crip.
  • Referring to a person as a crip or being cripped is short for "crippled," a derogatory term for people with disabilities. (Oftentimes, though, people with disabilities reclaim this word.)
