Crescent Real Estate Equities Co. (NYSE: CEI) is a Fort Worth, Texas-based real estate investor with holdings mainly in office and hotel properties, including several landmark buildings in the southern United States. The company's fortunes have slowly fallen since the 1990s, selling buildings to competing companies, although as of 2004, the company has purchased office buildings in Las Vegas and southern California.
