From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Creme Yvette, also called Creme D'Yvette, is a defunct proprietary liqueur made from parma violet petals and possibly vanilla & other spices. Once manufactured by Charles Jacquin et Cie in the United States, who purchased the brand formerly made by Sheffield Company of Connecticut. It has become almost impossible to find since the production has stopped. Most drinks calling for Creme Yvette can be made using Creme de Violette.
