Credit repair software

With the recent passing of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, U.S. consumers now have an easier ability to repair errors and innacurate information in their Credit History Reports and to boost their Credit score (Fico Score). Along with the new laws, several companies have begun to pop up offering Credit Repair and Credit Cleaning Software (ie: Credit Doctor Software). Some of these self-help programs help the tedious letter writing process and offer useful tips, while others may be scams. As more of these programs are surfacing, it seems relevant to post this information, but buyer beware.
