Creative Visualization

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Creative Visualization refers to the practice of seeking to affect the outer world via changing one's thoughts. Although various spiritual traditions claim that our thoughts affect the outer world, the phrase "Creative Visualization" came from the New Age Movement.

This is purported to be accomplished by various means including expecting the best, focusing intensely on a desired goal, and repeating mantras or affirmations.

It is also the name of a book by New Age spiritual teacher Shakti Gwain.
