I currently have ""teh tennisman"" as the source code to my sig, but for some reason it won't let me make either my userpage or my talkpage an actual link-have i done something wrong? or is that just IE for ya'?tehtennisman 23:24, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

  • lool-why did it start to work? haha-mi malo. tehtennisman 23:26, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you for your support!

Se la face ay pale, la cause est...

23:42, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

If I'm a bit pale in the face now,
it's because of the amazing support
during my recent request for adminship
and because of all those new shiny buttons.

And if in the future
my use of them should not always be perfect
please don't hesitate to shout at me
any time, sunset, noon or sunrise.

[edit] My RfA:

Thank you so very much for voting support in my RfA. However, I have withdrawn due to reasons that a stressed user would withdraw under. I'm sorry I have failed you & your expectations. Thanks, Spawn Man 09:03, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RE:E@L and Kyoko

Hey. I don't want to start any rumors about E@L, so please don't say anything about it. By what I can guess, it looks like she or someone she knows may have been sexually abused by a teacher, and thus has entered an incredibly depressed state of clinical depression. She hasn't said anything and I don't want to speculate, but that's what I can guess happened. As for Kyoko, she's made no secret of it; as I think you know, she attempts to kill herself a while back and has been emotionally unstable for a while. She recently felt really bad and so checked herself into the hospital to make sure she didn't do something drastic like try to kill herself again. I really ask that you be sensitive about this and tread lightly. Thanks. DoomsDay349 02:26, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

I understand, but what exactly is this in reference to? IRC? I'm trying to be as sensitive as possible and I don't want to drive anybody away due to any perceived insensitivity on my part. ~ crazytales(lol myspace) 03:02, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RfA thanks

Thank you for the extra feathers on my wings!

Thank you so much, Crazytales56297, for your support in my RfA, which passed on November 11, 2006, with a final tally of 82/0/2. I am humbled by the kind support of so many fellow Wikipedians, and I vow to continue to work and improve with the help of these new tools. Should you have any request, do not hesitate to contact me. Best regards, Húsönd 21:35, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] E@L support Barnstar

The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
Though what you did is not so random, I, on behalf of E@L, award you this barnstar for your support. Randfan 18:52, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] E@L and Kyoko

Ahh, they doth return. I feel so much better, and feel like we all did something good in helping them through their dark times. How about you? --teh tennisman 21:43, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

I try my best to be a nice wikipedian, even though being nice will never get me adminship. I'm really thankful E@L and Kyoko are in the process of recovery and back on Wikipedia. ~ crazytales(speak to me) 02:03, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Shiny new buttons

Two weeks ago I couldn't even spell administratur and now I are one (in no small part thanks to your support). Now that I checked out those new buttons I realize that I can unleash mutant monsters on unsuspecting articles or summon batteries of laser guns in their defense. The move button has now acquired special powers, and there's even a feature to roll back time. With such awesome new powers at my fingertips I will try to tread lightly to avoid causing irreversible damage and getting into any wheel wars. Thanks again and let me know whenever I can be of use.

One of the coolest RfA thanks messages I've seen. (: ~ crazytales-My talk--Your talk- 00:51, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your comment at the EA MfD

"Why preserve the status quo? Like High School Musical says, ‘‘don't stick to the status quo!’’ (never thought I'd be quoting HSM...) " I never thought I'd hear you quote it either. I also thought I'd never quote it either. Haha, guess we were both wrong. We're breaking free! --teh tennisman 00:23, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

Heh, my sister is doing HSM for her school play. I'm OD'd on it. ~ crazytales-My talk--Your talk- 00:41, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
that's funny because C-A is doing it too. it starts tomorrow night, but i cant go b/c = Quiz Bowl. *laughs* i got interviewed for QB last week on our school tv channel; it sucked. haha, i finally figured out what i did wrong with my sig: nothing. i actually added one extra capitalisation when i needn't have. tell me what you think! --teh tennisman 01:21, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
Cool. You guys have a school TV channel? Even cooler. ~ crazytales-My talk--Your talk- 01:26, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, it's called C2 aka Cavalier Channel (C-A Cavs); broadcast on Thursdays in our seminar class. --teh tennisman 21:24, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
Oh and btw, we finally have another QB D-1 and D-2 meet in mid-Dec., so I'll see you the 13th lolzorz! --teh tennisman 21:30, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edits

"(Insert current bubblegum idol)" was fine, I have removed Hillary Duff from the page.

[edit] k-line

I believe you were klined for putting a well-known shock site in the channel, not for testing a bot. Shadow1 (talk) 22:00, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

But I did it to test a bot. Intention is not considered? And what are you doing stalking xyr's talkpage? ~ crazytales-talk- 22:04, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] thank you

Thank you for your support...
Thank you ever so much, Crazytales56297, for your kind words and understanding in my time of need. I deeply appreciate your support, and I hope to be there for you, should you ever need help.

-Hello Crazytales56297, thank you for your kind words and also for the lovely flower. I greatly appreciate them both.

[edit] ArbCom questions

Hi. I'm Ral315, editor of the Wikipedia Signpost. We're doing a series on ArbCom candidates, and your response is requested.

  1. What positions do you hold (adminship, mediation, etc.)?
  1. Why are you running for the Arbitration Committee?
  1. Have you been involved in any arbitration cases? In what capacity?

Please respond on my talk page. We'll probably go to press late Monday or early Tuesday (UTC), but late responses will be added as they're submitted. Thanks, Ral315 (talk) 01:58, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your wish finally came true; I'm an admin

I wasn't going to send thank-you cards, but the emotional impact of hitting WP:100 (and doing so unanimously!) changed my mind. So I appreciate your confidence in me (and willingness to nominate me long before I thought I was ready), and hope you'll let me know if I can do anything for you in the future. Cheers! -- nae'blis 22:23, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Congratulations!!! ~ crazytales-Stalk My Contribs!!!- 23:45, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Portfolio for ArbCom

On Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee Elections December 2006/Summary table, I added a column "Examples" with links that exhibit a candidate's arbitration skills. My motivation is that as a voter, I don't want to just rely on a candidate's words, but also see their actions. Moreover, I believe a portfolio of "model cases" to remember in difficult situations can be useful for each candidate, as well.

So far I have entered examples for the candidates who registered first (from their questions page), and I'm not sure if and when I will get to yours, so you may want to enter an example or two yourself. — Sebastian (talk) 00:52, 4 December 2006 (UTC)    (I stopped watching this page. If you would like to continue the talk, please do so here and let me know.)
