[edit] Band history

Stew up a base of mild insanity; throw in some boyish good looks and a seasoned grasp of American jive; add a healthy pinch of antidisestablishmentarianism combined with down-home southern charm, mixed with an uncanny ability to turn every show into a pulsating expletive of a party. Finally, top off this strange brew with five friends from metro Atlanta. Meet the Crazy Anglos.

Formed in 2002, Atlantic Record's Crazy Anglos are an Atlanta success story. This five-member funk/rap/rock/reggae group melds the energy and rawness of a punk band with the ability to deliver complex and varied songs. Anyone who has had the opportunity to see the Anglos live can attest to the fact the band is aptly named, these are some crazy white boys.

The key to the Crazy Anglos' charisma is the pure energy and camaraderie of the band, combined with raw talent and the motivation to make every session, whether it be in the studio, an intimate setting with a group of old friends, or onstage in front of hundreds of fans, an opportunity to instigate an explosive funkdafied groove meltdown.

The Anglos bring a dynamic, in-your-face, rock/reggae fusion sound, which shows an elemental blend of each musicians' diverse influences, ranging from Cypress Hill and Outkast, to Red Hot Chili Peppers and Fugazi, Mos Def and James Brown, and also include Beethoven, Miles Davis, and Bob Marley. The Crazy Anglos are fronted by vocalist John O'Leary and MC Bryan Bozeman, who work off of each other to create a layered vocal delight that is both edgy and melodic. Brandon Parker, a former jam band guitarist and punk rock aficionado, brings 'da funk' on the guitar and Adam "Corndog" Corn's intricate bass lines round out the bands bottom end. Drummer Kevin Compton is a young prodigy who Atlanta-area reviewers tout as "supplying the deadliest beats in the South".
