Crash and Eddie (Ice Age)

Crash and Eddie are fictional characters in the film Ice Age: The Meltdown. Crash and Eddie are Ellie the mammoth's brothers, who she was brought up with when she had lost her herd. The two of them are a pair of opossums. Crash is very protective of Ellie, as is Eddie, and at first does not take kindly to Manny, Sid, or Diego, who accompany Ellie, Crash, and Eddie on their voyage away from the flooding waters, due to the opossums' (and Ellie's) tendency to move only at night. In time, however, they warms up to the three of them, more or less.

Crash and Eddie are both young and wild, with a strong penchant for playing practical jokes, such as shooting pebbles at others with reeds, or mistranslating the words which someone may say. Though Crash is quite mischievous, Eddie is the more sensitive one of the duo.
