Craig Gardner (born November 25, 1986 in Solihull, Birmingham) is an English footballer, who plays for the English Premiership club Aston Villa F.C. as a midfielder.
He turned professional on January 31, 2005.
Gardner made his Premiership debut on December 26, 2005, when he came on as a substitute for Steven Davis against Everton F.C. at Villa Park. Gardner also netted his first goal for the senior side, the 2nd goal in the 2-0 victory over Hull City.
