Cracker (US TV series)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cracker was an American television crime drama, a remake of a British series, also called Cracker. The US version starred Robert Pastorelli as Gerry Fitzgerald and was created in 1997. It is generally considered to be inferior to the original.

The series consisted of 16 hour-long episodes, many of which were almost identical to episodes of the original British series. Robbie Coltrane, the star of the original series, appears as a villain in an episode of the US remake. When the US show was shown in the UK, the rest of Europe and Australia, it was retitled Fitz.
