Coy Wire (born November 7, 1978 in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania) is an American football safety who plays for the Buffalo Bills. He played high school football for Cedar Cliff High School. After his NCAA career with Stanford, Coy was drafted by the Bills in the 3rd round of the 2002 NFL Draft. Although he played multiple positions in college; RB, and OLB, the Bills converted Wire to Strong Safety. At 6'1, 217lbs he doesn't have the ideal Linebacker size, but he does tackle like one. In his 3 year career, Wire has recorded 117 solo tackles but 0 interceptions.
