Talk:Covenant-breaking in Shoghi Effendi's immediate family

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Having a "Conclusions" section that includes two long quotes from Shoghi Effendi's works, and a bibliography based only upon Bahá'í official sources, and lacking any input from the expelled members of the family, the neutrality of this article is questioned. --Jdemarcos 15:26, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

As far as I know there are no documents, from those that were expelled to point out their point of view. -- Jeff3000 16:31, 29 January 2006
Whether there are documents or not, this article as it stands does not meet the standards of neutrality that the Wikipedia requires and it cannot be considered neutral by any means. A more balanced view is required. --Jdemarcos 21:20, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
How do you go about makeing it more balanced, when the people who have been expelled have not given their positions. We can't guess what they feel. -- Jeff3000 21:29, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

Actually, JdeMarcos, has a point. The "Conclusions" section is heavy. The references are more than adequate to describe the Bahá'í perspective.

However, Jeff3000 also has a point. There are no published sources on the family's response — and it's published sources that are required for addition to Wikipedia.

I'll remove the "Conclusions" section. It seems unnecessary. MARussellPESE 04:03, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
