I am a new Wikipedia editor. Although I've done my best to read the rules, I will doubtless goof up anyway (in fact, I've already forgotten to add an editing summary). I am an editor of Northwest Journal (www.northwestjournal.ca), and as a long-time researcher on the history of the Canadian fur trade, I will start my foray into Wikipedia by fleshing out the article on David Thompson (explorer). From there, I will begin the article on Charlotte Thompson née Small, and her father, North West Company partner Patrick Small.
