Courtney Blackman

Sir Courtney Blackman K.A., Ph. D of Barbados, is an economist, an international business consultant, and a diplomat. In the past he served as a Governor to the Central Bank of Barbados, an Ambassador to the United Nations, an Ambassador to the United States, and a Permanent Representative for Barbados to the OAS.

Sir Courtney Blackman is known for correcting any of the erroneous statements or reports made about Barbados in the International Community, in the past he oftentimes referred to the country of Barbados, as "the most successful predominantly black country in the world".
