Courson is a commune of the département of Calvados, in the Basse-Normandie région, in France. Its postal code is 14380. The INSEE code is 14192.

Note that the Château de Courson, venue for the Journées des Plantes de Courson plant fairs since 1983, is in Courson-Monteloup, on the south-west outskirts of Paris. It is in the Essonne département of the Île-de-France région (its postal code is 91680; INSEE code 91186).
