County Route 83 (Dutchess County, New York)

County Route 83 is a county route in Dutchess County, New York. Its eastern end is at US 44 just west of the hamlet of Amenia. Near Amenia, the route is known locally as Smithfield Valley Road and as CR-83 further northwest. The northern portion of CR-83 was an old alignment of New York State Route 82. The road ends at NY 82 just south of the hamlet of Pine Plains. The entire route is approximately 12.2 miles long.
