Country (film)

Country is a 1984 movie which tells the story of a farm family which faces the foreclosure of their farm.

It was written by William D. Wittliff. It stars Jessica Lange, Sam Shepard, Wilford Brimley and Matt Clark.

The movie was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actress (Jessica Lange).

This film was the second one released by Touchstone Pictures. The first was Splash.
