Counter Intelligence is a United Kingdom/The Netherlands recording label started and owned by John Machielsen. Counter Intelligence is all about bringing the musical diversity back into drum & bass. The sound is breakbeat oriented with influences ranging from atmospherics to electro, ragga to techno. All keeping the dancefloor in mind but not avoiding experimentation.

Counter Intelligence aims to push exciting new talent and to let established producers do something fresh and different on the label.
