Founded in 1970, the Council for European Studies is the leading academic organization for the study of Europe, with a membership of more than 100 institutions and 1,000 individuals. The Council is dedicated to producing and recognizing outstanding research in European studies and achieves this objective through a range of programs including conferences, publications, and awards.
