[edit] Long Clawson?

The person who added the bit about Long Clawson Dairy seems to have done the same to other cheeses. I'm not sure whether this is true or not - I visited Long Clawson's website and found no claim that they originated this variety - but since there is no evidence or citation, I'm removing that claim. It seems like advertisement, and if false, it could have damaging effects. For example, see this advertisement(pdf) which seems to have quoted this entry verbatim, including the part about Long Clawson. Duckwizard 06:38, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Appleby, Quickes, and Smart also produce Cotswold. And even Clawson says that it's made from Double Gloucester. In fact Clawson doesn't claim anywhere to have invented the cheese, or to have the "true" Cotswold. I think we can safely say that the claim made was 100% fantasy. --y6y6y6 15:51, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
