Cotai Strip
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Cotai Strip is the trademarked name of Las Vegas Sands' multi-billion casino resort project in Macau. The Strip is situated on a 1.8 mile plot of land in Cotai, which is the area of reclaimed land adjoining Macau's two islands, Taipa and Coloane.
Las Vegas Sands will own most of the Strip's hotel and casino infrastructure. As a Macau concession holder, the company will manage most of the casino space, while the company's hotel partners will manage their respective hotels and amenities. The first phase of the Cotai Strip is scheduled to open in 2007 with the grand opening of The Venetian Macao.
