Cosford railway station is a two platform station on the Wolverhampton to Shrewsbury Line serving Cosford in Shropshire, England. The station is a little unusual compared with other stations on the line in that it is constructed entirely of timber. Nearby is RAF Cosford which contains a large aircraft museum. This is a large tourist attraction.
Cosford has been proposed as a possible stop of the Wrexham, Shropshire and Marylebone Railway Company's Wrexham-London services.
Cosford signal box lies a little to the west of the station. This controls entrance and exit to up and down refuge loops. It has been abolished as a result of the 2006 resignalling scheme with control passing to Madeley Junction.
