Could someone explain the cooper reference? I've watched that video twice now and don't catch it.
[edit] Puck's comment on name origin
Puck wonders absent-mindedly whether his name is taken from "the letters, the pillars, the leather, the place, or the mode of behavior."
In an attempt to figure out what things Puck was referring to, according to Wikipedia:
- the letters - Searching for "Corinthian letters" turned up Letter to the Corinthians, a redirect to First Epistle to the Corinthians. It's also the origin of the "dark mirror" phrase.
- the pillars - Probably the Corinthian pillars style.
- the leather - Now this one's odd. Fine Corinthian leather, a redirect to Chrysler Cordoba, says that "Corinthian leather" was a meaningless term invented for the [advertising] purpose, but the term has come to mean leather with a vinyl surface treatment that requires little care. Then again, I wouldn't put it above Puck to use a nonexistent substance to describe someone who is just a dream.
- the place - In order of population, there's Corinth, Greece, Corinth, Mississippi, and Corinth, Vermont.
- the mode of behavior - Nothing on this one.

"Corinthian" behavior is engaging in luxury and licentiousness.

[edit] Updating
Just deleted that stupid line (or else he has a brother) and updated with more stuff from Dreaming. Someone wants to make those sentences smoother please do. Will get around to adding stuff about Echo as the Corinthian III when I get a chance. Highlandlord 18:19, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
