[edit] How easy is cording to care for, really?

Earlier today I added the 2nd paragraph on how hard it is to care for a corded coat. Now I see that Havanese says "...which is hard to start but easy to care for when completed.". So, really, is it easy or tough? I'm basing my comments on the one person I know who does dog agility with his Puli. Comes to class all tied up with dozens of ribbons and clips and wearing leggings and things. After class, every week, spends probably 30-45 minutes cleaning out all the little bits of everything that have collected in the coat. This doesn't strike me as being easy maintenance. Comments?
