The website http://www.eubiose.com/petro/coroa.htm is the ulr from where I copied the file. No copyright notice exists, nor the author of the photo is given in the source url. I consider that uploading it constitutes fair use for the following reasons.The photo is the image of an historic Brazilian imperial Crown, kept in public exhibition by the Brazilian Government. Also, I consider that the use being made of this picture does not constitute copyright infringement under article 46 of the Brazilian Copyright Act (Federal Law 9.610/98). The image is being uploaded for non-profit, educational purposes under the fair use doctrine. It is my firm and sincere understanding that the use of this photo in Wikipedia fully complies with the fair use provisions of the United States copyright legislation (17 USC § 107).
