Description

In Maui, they call this fish hinalea aki lolo. Lolo means "lazy fish" in the native language. The Hawaiian people observed that the adults spend most of their time buried in the sand with only their noses protruding. I'm glad I ran into a more ambitious one. Also known as the yellowtail wrasse (Coris gaimard)
