Coronation, Alberta, is a small town in east-central Alberta, Canada. Located at the interection of Highway 12 and Highway 872. Approximately 60 miles west of the Saskatchewan border. The economy is supported primarily by farming, ranching, and the oil patch. There is one K-12 school called Coronation School (approximately 207 students as of 2004) There is also a Coronation School in Edmonton, that has no affiliation to this Coronation School.

Coronation is surrounded by the County of Paintearth. The school belongs to the Clearview School District of Alberta and the Hospital belongs to the David Thompson Health Region.
