Corona Stadium

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Estadio Corona (the name comes from a world famous beer brand) is one of the smallest football (soccer) stadiums in Mexico having only capacity for 15,000 seats. It is located in the city of Torreón, Coahuila. This sport facility is used mostly for football games and is the home of the club Santos Laguna. This stadium has not hosted any FIFA World Cup games because of its limited size and facilities. In 2004 this stadium hosted several games of the Copa Libertadores.
