Cornwall Air Ambulance

The 'Cornwall Air Ambulance was the first NHS Air Ambulance in the United Kingdom. It was set up in Delabole and has been running ever since.
In 2006, Margaritte Wierdon, the founder, along with her and son his partner, were charged for stealing money from collection boxes. The total amount came to just over £30. In the end, Wierdon and her son's girlfriend were found innocent, however her son, was sentenced to 2 years in gaol.
