Jon Corey Hart is a baseball outfielder for the Milwaukee Brewers. Hart started off the 2006 season with the Brewers, was sent down to the minor leagues in late April, and was recalled again in May. In 2005, he hit two home runs with 7 RBI while spending the end of the year with the team. He is a highly-touted prospect for the Brewers, capable of playing first or third base as well.
[edit] Triple-A ball
In 2005, Hart had an outstanding year for the Class AAA Nashville Sounds, hitting .308 with 17 home runs and 69 RBI. He was selected to the Triple-A All-Star team for the fourth year in a row.[citation needed] He continued playing in Triple-A until his August 14th callup to the Brewers.
[edit] MLB stint
On short notice, Hart reported to the Brewers August 14th. That day, he hit his first career MLB home run with a three-run blast against the Cincinnati Reds. He spent the rest of the year with the major league club.
