Copeland's
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Copeland's was started by New Orleans restaurant legend Al Copeland in 1983 -- 11 years after founding Popeye's Chicken & Biscuits. Copeland's offers classic New Orleans-style cuisine (from Po' boys and jambalaya to bread pudding) in a casual sit-down atmosphere. As of 2004, they claimed more than 40 locations in 12 states and offered a "steakhouse"-style expanded menu.
Their bar offers several notable cocktails that are found only in Copeland's. The most famous is a "Crash and Burn" an extremely large cocktail capable of serving 2-3 people.
Other stores owned by the Al Copeland Investments include Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro, Sweet Fire & Ice and formerly Wholly Mackerel.
