The Continental Party of Canada was formed on December 01 2005 by Peter Phillips in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada and is not yet registered with Elections Canada, but that is the goal. The party was designed to unite Canadians who were upset with what they felt were the current partisan politics that had created the formation of two successive minority governments.
The party takes a common sense view of what they believe are the major issues facing Canada and Canadians. Such things as reforming the Medicare system, improving Education and over hauling the Canadian tax system.
