[edit] confusing contact dermatitis?
Well i was looking around wiki to see what kind of allergy i have... for sure i have this one (checked with other medical websites). but it was only clear from "another" article that links to here, that explains what contact dermatitis clearly is. That article was Eczema and it lists the different kinds and so on. This article, Contact dermatitis, did not help me understand at all.
Suggesting rewrite of ICD, PCD & ACD sections to make flow better. Author has obviously referenced a lot of books which is great. would hate to mess up or unintentionally change the meaning through re-editing. Moving Contact Urticaria to Urticaria, as it is reasonably distinct from Contact dermatitis and the seperate article (Urticaria) is already established. I've linked to it here.
Would like to propose that this article include the sections/headings to make it more readable, etc:
1 • Introduction
2 • Causes
3 • Types of Contact Dermatitis
4 • Symptoms3.1 • ICD
3.2 • ACD
3.3 • PCD5 • Medical Care
6 • Prevention
7 • References

- I agree that this article is somewhat confusing to understand. It seems more like a medical textbook's description rather than that of an encyclopedia. The structure you suggests sounds good to me. I will see if I can further research this and try to help the article along. Angleterre 12:50, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
I have been researching allergic contact dermatitis to the element nickel. I am a Graduate Gemologist and have clients asking me about "white gold" on an almost daily basis. Incidentally, I am also allergic to nickel. It's not a nice thing to suffer from.T.E. Goodwin 03:36, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
