Talk:Consumer debt
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Nonsense
- "Critics of consumer debt decry the practice as an example of an emphasis on instant gratification over long-term fiscal prudence." Says who? Critic who? Let's just get rid of the credit market, it's "bad". You know, there is a limit of what kind of stupid things can be written, that limit was crossed here. - Jerryseinfeld 16:49, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Consumer debt detrimental?
The article says that "consumer debt is considered detrimental." Could we get some useful citation here before a judgement is made? That sentence is clearly NPOV and should be removed unless we can find a reputable economist or financial advisor to quote here. I'm going to try to remove the slanted view presented here. sebmol 20:44, 28 August 2005 (UTC)
