Talk:Constitution of Egypt

Can we find out the copyright law of Egypt regarding govt works before copying this over?--Birgitte§β ʈ Talk 13:02, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
- Someone said here that it "is an official translation by the Egyptian government, whose works are in the public domain". The translation appears to be the same as that on an official government site, and on the same server there is a notice that "[m]ost of the information available on this server is in the public domain and therefore not copyrighted".[1]
- I realize that none of that is absolute proof, but in any case the full text doesn't belong here. If it's copyrighted, the text should be removed altogether, and if not it should be transwikied. Wmahan. 15:26, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
- P.S. I just saw that you replied to the first comment I linked, so sorry if that wasn't helpful. Wmahan. 15:30, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Reformatting the page
I added new sections and modified more on the content of the page. I aimed at providing an overview, a descriptive summary issues of the present-day constitutio rather than giving the hard original text. I will update the format of this page once again, as soon as I find more material. User:Ahmed MohamedUser Talk:Ahmed Mohamed 5 November 2006
