Talk:Conjunctive archaeology

It is the same text of the article Walter Taylor, but incomplete. I think that must be merged or deleted--Locutus Borg , Talk to me 01:41, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] proposal to merge
I think this and the Wheeler-Kenyon method plus a few others could be lumped to together in a alternative archaeological methods article and stuck in two categories Category:Archaeological theory and Category:Methods and principles in archaeology
- When it comes to merger proposals, I think the important question is not "Are the two articles more or less the same?" but "Can they usefully be led into into covering complementary material?" On the whole, I think that biography, even of people closely associated with certain work, is better dealt with separately from the subject matter of the work. From the point of view of someone looking for information on the subject, which here is Archaeology, the biographical material is clutter.
- The best approach may be to tease the two articles apart rather than merging them. However, it may be best to consider making it a paragraph in Processual archaeology and redirecting there. (RJP 17:15, 22 October 2006 (UTC))
