Converteam is the power conversion company that formerly traded as Alstom Power Conversion.

Converteam applies advanced technologies in high power motors and generators, drives and automation, using its extensive experience in project management and system integration in order to provide the power and control for industrial processes and marine applications worldwide. It is the "final link" in the power supply chain, focusing on converting electrical energy into productive performance.

The company holds the rights to the successful Gem80 programmable logic controller range, along with the MV, GD and DC variable-speed drive ranges and the P-1200 SCADA package.
