Constricting the Shadow
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Constricting the Shadow a philosophical method employed by the legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi within the Gorin no sho's Fire Scroll during the Edo period (17th century) of Japan. Within group strategy, you are to start off by constricting your movements at the time in which your opponents are about to launch their attack. However, if you are to show in a forceful manner that you are constricting the effective means used by your opponents, they will follow in changing their tactic due to being constricted by your displayed strength. Within this moment, you will change your tactic and achieve victory by performing your attack through an empty mind. When within individual strategy, when your opponent is about to attack you when equipped with a strong will, you must get him to give up his set action by using a rather effective cadence. During this condence of retreat, you should be able to find a rather effective means to defeat your opponent, along with seizing the moment to attack.
