This is a list of the constituencies which are expected to be established at the time of the next United Kingdom general election. The next election, if the existing Parliament continues for the usual length of time, is not expected before 2009 and may be as late as 2010. Except in Scotland and Wales, however, the revised constituencies have yet to be agreed by Parliament, and the constituencies listed in this article represent the final proposals of relevant Boundary Commissions to date.

In Scotland a new set of seats was created for the 2005 election and seats will be the same as those fought in that election. In Wales the Boundary Commission finalised its proposals for changes and these have been given legal effect by The Parliamentary Constituencies and Assembly Electoral Regions (Wales) Order 2006 (S.I. 2006 No. 1041) made on 11 April 2006. In England and Northern Ireland, processes of review by the respective Boundary Commissions are still on-going. The Boundary Commission for England confirmed, in its Newsletter No. 3/2006 issued on 1 November 2006, that it has made final proposals for all English regions and submitted its final report to the Secretary of State for Constitutional Affairs on 31 October 2006; in Northern Ireland, the proposals have been amended following public consultation and the revised recommendations were issued on 24 May 2006. Regardless of this work, if an election is called prior to Parliamentary approval of the proposed changes existing constituency boundaries will still apply in England, and Northern Ireland.

The electorate figures given here are as in 2000, which is the year all Boundary Commissions must work from by law.

To assist readers unfamiliar with the geography of the United Kingdom, constituencies in Wales (W), Scotland (S) and Northern Ireland (NI) are indicated in the notes. Other constituencies are in England.
