Constantine Laskaris

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Constantine Laskaris (Greek Κωνσταντίνος Λάσκαρης) was Byzantine emperor for a few months in 1204. He was not officially crowned, thus he is not always considered as a Byzantine Emperor. [citation needed] Based on the erroneous idea that Constantine Lascaris was crowned in 1204, Constantine XI Palaeologus is sometimes referred to as Constantine XII [1].
