Constance Glube

Constance R. Glube OC, ONS (November 23, 1931) was the 21st Chief Justice of Nova Scotia and first female Chief Justice in Canada.
Attended McGill and graduated with a BA. in 1952. Graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 1955. In 1982 she was appointed Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia. In 1998 she was appointed Chief Justice of the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, which included the title of Chief Justice of Nova Scotia. She retired in June of 2004 and replaced by Michael MacDonald.
She was made an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2006 [1]
