Conscious (EP)

Conscious is a demo tape made by dredg, in the mid-1990s, which was never officially released or named.

The tape was originally made circa 1996, and surfaced online in 2003, originally as four mp3s without titles. Several months later, Drew Roulette gave the titles in an interview. The tape is more representative of their earlier more "rapcore" influenced sound.

Conscious EP is a bit of a misnomer in that it is not a proper EP, and has no name. It was an untitled demo tape, which gained a name only when it was leaked onto the internet. "Conscious" was the first track identified on the tape, so the tape became known as the Conscious EP, as it had enough songs to count as an EP, and to prevent confusion between the track and the tape itself.
