Conrad Altenbach

Conrad Altenbach (1910 - 1986) was a traditionalist Catholic bishop from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was consecrated bishop on May 24, 1984 by George Musey. He wrote at least two books in defense of the traditional Catholic faith and published a series of cassette tapes called The True Mass Tapes, which were recordings of his Latin tridentine masses broadcast over radio for every Sunday in the year.
Fr. Altenbach officiated at Latin tridentine masses at St. James Church, Mukwonago WI (1940's); St. Rita Catholic Church, 2318 S. 61th St., West Allis WI; St Michael's Church, 1782 Chapelle Rue, De Pere WI (1970's); and Saint Pius V Catholic Church, 425 Grand Ave, Mukwonago WI (1980's).
